Inclusion Criteria:

• diabetic patients

Exclusion Criteria:

• history of intraocular surgery or laser treatment,

• any ocular diseases that might affect pupil size such as glaucoma,uveitis,Horner's syndrome, Adies' pupil,

• history of allergy to any drug used, and

• hypertension
