Inclusion Criteria:

• Men or postmenopausal women who are osteoporotic

Exclusion Criteria:

• Vitamin D deficiency

• Other disease of bone or mineral metabolism

• Digestive disease causing malabsorption

• Other medical conditions that are not adequately treated
