Criteria

inclusion

1. age 3 to 12 months

2. both genders

3. acute brochiolitis as defined

exclusion

1. prior history of wheezing

2. family history of asthma

3. pneumonia

4. TB

5. progressive respiratory distress requiring mechanical ventillation

6. underlying diseases (e-g cystic fibrosis, bronchopulmonary dysplasia and cardiac or renal disease)
