Summary
Addition of systemic herbal immunomodulators with scaling & root planing (SRP) may enhance
the therapeutic result of Chronic Periodontitis owing to host modulation & anti-inflammatory
properties. If proven, herbal immunomodulators can be used as an adjunct to SRP.
