Inclusion Criteria:

• Osteoarthritis of the knee according to Kellgren-Lawrence x-ray grade of 2

Exclusion Criteria:

• Pregnancy or intent to become pregnant

• BMI greater than 39

• other severe pain, significant cardiac, neurologic or cardiac disease
