Inclusion Criteria:

• anuric and oliguric patients

• calculuar ureteral obstruction

Exclusion Criteria:

• anomalous kidney

• bilateral obstructed kidney

• history of recent use of angiotensin receptor blockers or angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors

• ASA score of >3
