Criteria

Inclusion Criteria:

• Patient requiring surgery for an isolated hip fracture of less than 48 hours

Exclusion Criteria:

• Contraindication to tranexamic acid

• Contraindication to fondaparinux

• Contraindication to general anesthesia associated with a femoral nerve block

• pregnancy
