Summary
Aim: To investigate whether ultrasound-guided perineural administration of 20 ml bupivacaine
5 mg/ml vs 20 ml isotonic saline at the ilioinguinal-iliohypogastric nerves have a clinically
analgesic effect after unilateral open inguinal hernia repair.
