Inclusion Criteria:

• Elective cardiac surgery

Exclusion Criteria:

• Haemodynamic instability

• Epilepsy

• Psychotic disturbances

• Acute / Chronic respiratory failure

• Morbid obesity (BMI > 45 kg/m2)

• Sleep apnea (treated)

• Severe hepatic or renal failure

• Patient refusal
