Criteria

Inclusion Criteria:

• Diagnosis of sever primary mitral regurgitation

• Normal subjects

Exclusion Criteria:

• Left ventricle ejection fraction of <55% pre and post operation

• Pregnancy or Lactation

• Secondary mitral regurgitation due to coronary artery disease, cardiomyopathy, uncontrolled hypertension, or severe aortic stenosis.
